A Leader Rooted in Service
Purnima Chakraborty is a grassroots leader from Shyampukur, North Kolkata, known for her deep connection with the people and her lifelong commitment to social service, culture, and public welfare. Her leadership style reflects authenticity, accessibility, and tireless dedication to community upliftment.
A dedicated BJP Karyakarta and a practicing Hindu Pujari, she represents a blend of spirituality, discipline, and people-focused leadership that connects naturally with citizens across all walks of life.
Roots in Shyampukur
Raised in a large joint family, she learned leadership, responsibility, and compassion from an early age—values that continue to guide her public service today.
After the passing of her husband, Late Raja Chakraborty of the West Bengal Police, she declined a government police job and chose instead to serve society through ideology and action, dedicating herself fully to public service and spiritual guidance.
